Interior Visualisation
There are various types of interior visualisation, from the perspective view that is comparable to a photograph, a cutaway image or 3d floor plan that removes a wall or ceiling to show a view looking into the interior, to a walkthrough animation that provides a virtual tour of the proposed space. The process for creating an interior visualisation firstly involves the modelling of the proposed interior from either sketch designs or ideally a full set CAD drawings. We will then add a virtual camera to the 3d model, so we can setup some options for the views, allowing the client to choose or adjust as necessary. The proposed materials are then added to the 3d model, and any furniture is included; the furniture can be taken from our library or modelled bespoke. We then apply the natural and artificial lighting to the model; for the artificial lighting we can use the IES data from the specific light fittings to simulate the type of lighting. An example of the process can be seen in the case studies section of our website, for the Gloucester Place interior visualisation - coming soon. |
